        PHYSICS PROBLEM SOLVING

     Windows Interactive 2020 & AVI-Movie Format Versions ©

Welcome to the Physics Problem Solving site. We are promoting seven educational products 100% interactive for Windows. Modules 2, 3, 4, 5, 20, and 26 include 2,000 original problems of excellent quality, and they do a great job in helping students become more efficient problem solvers in the areas of Kinematics, Dynamics, and Optics, and for students to succeed in the AP Physics 1 and 2 Exams. The modules include tutorials, study guides, practice examinations, real examinations, tests generators, and the detailed step by step solution of every problem. We firmly believe that those students that master all 708 problems in Module 26, will gain enough experience and knowledge to pass the Advanced Placement Exams 1 and 2 without difficulty. All seven modules were created by a certified physics teacher with 26 years of experience of teaching all levels of physics in the classroom.

Isaac Newton picture We are happy to announce a brand new product, Module 25: Class Projects for AP Physics 1 Students. This module include 10 different projects in 22 activities. For instance, one project is titled the Bouncing Ball, which is similar to one official AP Physics problem given some years ago. But we go much further. The solution of this project is academically challenging and it requires at least 3 hours of intense work and the application of principles in Kinematics, Projectile Motion, Conservation of Momentum, and Conservation of Energy to complete it. Every student will solve a different Bouncing Ball problem, and the teacher will take just a few minutes to print the solutions and grade the work done by the entire class. Students will love this and many of the other projects.

Besides the Windows Interactive products, we are also promoting another version of Modules 2, 3, 4, 5, 20, and 26 in AVI Movie format which can be used in PC and Mac computers, and in many digital televisions with a USB port. All 2,000 problems and their step-step-by-step solution can be watched and studied in the classroom and in computer labs. Windows Media Player, VLC Media Player, Power DVD, Real Player and other media readers may be used with excellent results to open and play the files in AVI Movie format.

This module can help students succeed in the AP Physics 1 exam. It is an excellent tool AP Physics teachers can use to complement the work done solving multiple choice and essay problems, and performing lab experiments. The students will be surprised to see how complex and amazing is the physical world. For instance, just to understand the motion of a simple ball bouncing on an inclined plane, or a ball rotating in a vertical plane, all the principles in several areas of mechanics they need to apply.

Most projects require the use of concepts in several chapters Rotation in a vertical plane to complete them. For instance, the Inclined Plane and the Spring project involves concepts in Kinematics, Dynamics, Energy, and Springs. A useful feature many teachers will like is that in many activities, just by entering the ID numbers of the student in the AP class, the computer will generate unique data for every student to use in several projects. In addition, The results can be printed on the screen or send to a text file for the teacher to open, edit, and print with a word procesor. To complete every activity requires at least two hours of work, and the teacher can get the answer key in just a few minutes.
